Buying a new car from a dealership

When you are looking to change your car either because you want a newer model or because your current car has become unsuitable for some reason a good option is to visit a local dealership. They often have special offers on at various times of the year and if you time it right you can pick up a bargain.

The best time to buy a new car is before the new registration comes out because dealerships are eager to clear the forecourt ready for newer models. Often incentives to buy are offered along with favourable finance terms should you wish to use them.

Another excellent way to buy is to ask about ex demonstration vehicles as these may have very few miles on the clock but in some cases be high specification cars with lots of extras.

If there is a specific car that you would like you may need to pre-order it especially if you want an unusual colour or body shape. Just be aware that it can take months for your vehicle to be ready in many cases.

As you would expect cars bought from a dealership do offer peace of mind for the buyer as they will come with a warranty as standard.
