Radiators on cars and vans are prone to developing problems. It can happen following an accident when the radiators has become damaged or even just due to the age of the vehicle and general wear and tear. Replacing a radiator can cost hundreds of pounds, which can be a lot of money to spend on a car, especially if it is over a certain age, but there are a few things that you can try first.
If the car is only leaking coolant very slightly you can add a solution that runs around the system and attempts to repair any leaks by blocking them. This can cost as little as £5 and can last a good number of years.
Alternatively if the leak is worse, you could try a scrap yard and see if you can get a second hand one. This is a bit of a risk as you will often not know if that radiator has any problems until you fit it.
